While the LXR-20 AMR is a successful Anti-Material Rifle for the UGTF, it's single shot, bolt action nature can lead to some issues in the field when it comes to speed. Sure it can penetrate NOC's vehicles with ease, but when there's more than one vehicle in the warzone, casualties can occur due reloads. Hearing the complaints, Storm of Argostorm productions began to work on an improved model of the LXR, and by 2039, the LXRE-20 "Taurus" Semi-Automatic Anti-Material Rifle. Chambered in the same 20mm Vulcan round, the LXRE-20 looks like it's bolt action counterpart, but the massive difference is the feeding system. It loads from the top like the Lahti L-39 Anti-Tank Rifle, housing 5 rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber. While it has a collosally slow rate of fire at 120RPM, it's penetration power isn't altered in any shape or form. The Taurus is fully ambidextrous, comes with the same bipod and scope from the original, though the latter is canted due to the magazine being top fed. Plus a new custom muzzle brake to tame that fiercesome recoil. The weapon is also shoulder mounted, but is ill-advised.
